    * Summer workshop for conductors and composers
    Co-operation with Herrenhaus Edenkoben (Germany)

    Ensemble in residence: Ensemble Modern Akademie, Frankfurt (Germany)

    The definitive program is not decided yet, but the following compositions are included:
    Donatoni: Arpège
    Hosokawa: Slow Dance
    Six compositions selected from the submissions.

    Participants
    Six composers and eight conductors will be selected for active participation. Twelve conductors will be admitted. From these twelve conductors eight will be selected for active conducting after the first phase of the workshop. Passive participants will also be admitted.

    The conductors will have the opportunity to work with the composers on their pieces and will conduct in a final concert to be recorded for the SWR. Scores and detailed information will be sent to the conductors selected one month before the beginning of the workshop.

    Fees
    Active participants: 250.- Euro
    Passive participants: 100.- Euro
    Lodging and meals: 35.- Euro / day

    A limited number of stipends are available for expecially qualified participants.
